Workflows
From raw information to real understanding
InkReaders is designed around the idea that reading and storing information isn’t enough — you need to actively work with it to truly learn it. Here’s the workflow that makes that happen.
The InkReaders workflow
Import your source material Start with whatever you’re working from — a PDF, a research paper, an AI conversation, or your own rough notes. Upload it or paste it in.
Extract what matters Pull out the key ideas, highlights, and concepts worth keeping. Don’t worry about structure yet — just get the important stuff captured.
Organize it Sort your extracted notes into the right pages and sections. Group related ideas, create logical hierarchies, and make sure everything has a home.
Refine your writing Go back through your notes with fresh eyes. Tighten the language, fill in any gaps, and make sure the structure actually makes sense. This is where rough captures become useful knowledge.
Share or revisit Publish your notes as a public page, share them with collaborators, or schedule a review to keep the material fresh in your memory.
Why this works
Most people take notes and never look at them again. The InkReaders workflow is different because each step makes you engage more deeply with the material:
• You understand more because you’re restructuring ideas in your own words, not just copying them.
• You find things faster because everything is organized with intention, not dumped in a folder.
• You actually remember it because capturing, organizing, and refining the same material multiple times reinforces it far better than reading alone. The goal isn’t a tidy notebook — it’s turning what you read into something you genuinely know.
